Antru Anthonisamy (also written Antru Sinthujan Anthonisamy) is a final-year dentistry student at the University of Siena, a professional web developer and brand designer, and the founder of Certrovi, a platform that teaches Italian from the learner's own language.
Brand identities, websites and installable systems: around twelve client builds in Italy and Sri Lanka since 2014. Three of them, in detail.
The problem. An institutional site that had grown heavy and hard to keep up.
What I built. A full rebuild: clearer structure, a faster custom design, easier to maintain.
Result. A clear, modern site, live today as the Commissione's public home.
The problem. Small hospitality businesses taking bookings by message, with no clear overview.
What I built. One reusable booking system, adapted for short rentals in Siena, wine tours and pilgrim hospitality on the Via Francigena.
Result. The same engine now runs bookings for three different businesses.
The problem. Foreigners in Italy lose time and money on bureaucracy, language, health and travel.
What I built. Four AI assistants, one for each of those four needs, as a shared project.
Result. Live today, with four assistants and an app available.

I am a final-year dentistry student and a professional web developer, and I have taught Italian since 2018. I teach what I have just learned, so I remember what it is like not to know.
Certrovi: a platform and live group classes. A free starter course, then a full 52-week programme.
From a blank page to a live, professional site, taught by someone who builds them for clients.
Reading dental images with confidence.
The essentials, in plain language, for exams and for practice.
Diagnosis and planning, step by step.
How people think, learn and behave.
Final-year student of Odontoiatria e Protesi Dentaria, University of Siena. Bachelor's in Biomedical Science, Northumbria University, Newcastle.
20-minute presentation at the Korean Orthopaedic Association congress: Prolene mesh and Trevira tubes in orthopedic oncology.
Restorative and preventive dentistry, paediatric dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, dental anaesthesia, CAD/CAM and 3D printing.
They are one discipline: precise systems that remove artificial complexity and give capable people autonomy and dignity. I am Antru Anthonisamy, also written Antru Sinthujan Anthonisamy, and this is how I got here.
I was born in Napoli to a Sri Lankan family living in Italy, son of Anthonisamy, whose name I carry and whose steadiness holds everything I build.
I grew up between two cultures, in a Sri Lankan family in Italy, and I have been translating between them ever since.
I moved to Sri Lanka to make my studies easier, and came back to Italy every year. At Loyola College I built SAS, the Student Analysis System, and presented it on stage to the whole school. That was the first spark: make something that works, then show it to people.
I completed the Biomedical Science programme at BMS in Sri Lanka.
While still a student I opened my own Partita IVA and began building projects for real clients. I have not stopped since.
The BMS programme let me join Northumbria directly, so I moved to Newcastle and finished my bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science.
I returned to Italy to study Biotechnology at the University of Naples Federico II.
I became certain that dentistry was my calling, left biotechnology, and began Odontoiatria e Protesi Dentaria at the University of Siena. In the final year now, with diplomas in AI in healthcare and in IT beside it.
The same year I started teaching Italian from the learner's own language: Sinhala first, then Tamil, English, Ukrainian and more. A platform, live classes, and a free book for Sinhala speakers.
Neroto, an independent short film I wrote, produced and starred in (Part 1 passed 12,000 views). A published screenplay. Brand identities. Around twelve client builds in Italy and Sri Lanka, under my studio Exclusivic.
Gold medal from the Comune di Napoli for community tech innovation, and a place on the programme of KOA 2026.
Independent short film, written, produced and starred in by Antru. Part 1 passed 12,000 views on YouTube.
A full-length screenplay, published on Amazon.
Brand identity designer on another film production. IMDB credits for both films.
A free book that teaches Italian to Sinhala speakers.
